Frequentis has received a contract from OEA Grands Projets, Tripoli, Libya. As part of the air traffic control (ATC) tower package being supplied to Tripoli International Airport by OEA, Frequentis will supply the tower’s voice communication control systems (VCCS).
The contract includes a separate radio backup system.

To meet the inherent requirement for high reliability in an ATC switching system, Frequentis will supply its VCS 3020X system. The VCS 3020X voice communication system employs state of the art technology for digital voice communications. It is based on a unique, highly modular, distributed and decentralised architecture that incorporates extensive redundancy - providing a true parallel operation core switch with duplicated data and audio paths. The VCS 3020X features the very latest user interface technology, such as sunlight readable colour touch panels.
