NC4, a leader in revolutionizing safety and security and an innovator in public safety and emergency management solutions, is pleased to announce that the Pembroke Pines Police Department has chosen NC4 Street Smart to help in their crime-fighting efforts. Pembroke Pines PD joins a list of numerous other police departments in Florida and across the US who have chosen NC4 Street Smart to help their officers improve communication and speed up information sharing within their departments.

With a population of 160,000, the mission of the Police Department is to provide the highest level of professional law enforcement services to the community. This mission is accomplished by their most valuable resource, the dedicated men and women who comprise their diverse law enforcement organization. NC4 Street Smart will assist the Pembroke Pines Police Department with that mission.

"Our community will benefit from our partnership with NC4. This patrol-centered software will allow our officers to leverage multiple data sources in real-time enhancing situational awareness. In doing so, we expect NC4 to be a force-multiplier in our crime-fighting efforts,” says Dan Giustino, Chief of Police, Pembroke Pines Police Department.

NC4 Street Smart is a daily-use crime-fighting solution that arms police officers with critical real- time data while patrolling the streets. It’s a law enforcement solution that maximizes policing effectiveness with continuously updated crime maps, bulletins and blogs. It gives officers the ability to share relevant information quickly and is as easy and instantaneous to use as social media. It’s basically social media for cops.

“We are thrilled to have another agency in Florida utilizing NC4 Street Smart to help in their crime fight,” said Rob Wolf, Vice President, NC4 Public Safety. “This software will allow police officers in the Pembroke Pines PD to share information quickly within their department, helping not only with officer safety, but helping the officers to more effectively manage crime and offenders in the area.”
