Clouds Enhance Public Safety For British Cities
Motorola Solutions has partnered with Skyscape Cloud Services to significantly accelerate the cost-effective delivery of smart public safety solutions to UK government agencies via the cloud.
Cloud computing solutions use a network of remote servers to store, manage and process data, using shared resources to achieve economies of scale. This agreement is set to advance mission-critical capabilities through cloud-delivered software as a service (SaaS) model, enhancing the abilities of public safety agencies of all sizes.

Motorola Solutions envisions the controlled operational expense of cloud-based delivery, with low to no upfront capital expenditure of multiple products and services such as:
- WAVE Work Group Communications providing communications interoperability and broadband push-to-talk (PTT), delivering real-time voice and data securely over any network using any device
- DragonForce for collaborative command and control, shared situational awareness and incident management
