ELNEX, one of today's leading providers of two-way radio MOTOROLA and telecommunication testers in Poland announced yesterday the deployment of its proprietary application TrackDMR dispatcher at the Municipal Police in Kutno. The police officers already benefit for 17 years from Motorola's communications equipment in their everyday work. In December 2013 it was decided to migrate to the digital MOTOTRBO system included with the Motorola DP4401, DP2400 and DM4401 radios.

The application that has been implemented for the Municipal Police is TrackDMR dispatching and is used to position patrols on a digital map. With the application it is possible to create a system for monitoring vehicles or other users equipped via the digital radio

"After the transition to digital technology, we experienced a significant improvement in communication and the quality of the transmitted voice. The dispatch application helps us in our daily work. Thanks to the application we are able to determine the position of patrol and make arrangements for the event closest located team. The additional advantage of digital technology is to ensure the confidentiality of correspondence. Personal data, such as names, social security number or intervention operations are not overheard by unauthorized persons. " - Said Ryszard Wilanowski, Commander of the City Watch in Kutno.

"The customer wanted a simple to use application with the basic functions to facilitate the daily work." - Said Krzysztof Sambor, Manager at ELNEX. "For the Municipal Police in Kutno GPS positioning was important as well as a record of the path. TrackDMR meets those needs. The customer is now able to position the radios on OpenStreetMap and Google maps"
