Hytera Extends Helping Hand to Typhoon Haiyan Stricken Area in Philippines

Hytera donated a batch of professional digital radio communications system, including repeaters, mobile radios, hand portables and dispatching software & license, to Philippines which was hit by the super typhoon Haiyan.

The radios will be used by Bureau of Fire Protection in the effort of bringing normal life back to the local people.

Nearly all the houses were swept away and hundreds of residents were killed by the super typhoon in Tacloban City. Disaster relief tasks required reliable mobile communications while the public network was down. Hytera Philippines team together with its local partner One Commerce contacted the BFP, Bureau of Fire Protection, immediately after the disaster, and express the willingness of giving a hand to the relief forces.

Hytera representative in Philippines commented that the centralPhilippines was hit by the biggest flood in 50 years because of the Typhoon Yolanda, Hytera and its local partner are highly concerned.
