The new line of BearCom audio accessories is intended for use with two MOTOTRBO models, the Motorola XPR3300 and Motorola XPR3500.

Big news from BearCom: BearCom is introducing a new line of audio accessories that will carry the company name. The speaker-microphones and surveillance kits are designed for Motorola Solutions’ XPR3300 and XPR3500 digital two-way radios and the EVX-531 and VX-450 Series models from Vertex Standard.

BearCom works to keep a close eye on our customers’ needs, and one of those needs has been audio accessories for certain popular Motorola MOTOTRBO and Vertex Standard two-way radios. This new line of accessories addresses those needs and makes these great radios even easier to use. The new line includes:

  • One-wire surveillance kits with a full-size push-to-talk microphone, coiled Kevlar-reinforced cabling, and a variety of earpiece options
  • Two-wire surveillance kits that give the user the ability to wear the push-to-talk microphone on a shirtsleeve instead of on the collar area
  • Speaker-mics designed to withstand heavy use in demanding environments; one model is IP67 rated against dust and water intrusion

Speaker-mics give users the ability to communicate without holding their radios. Two-way radio surveillance kits are used in environments requiring more discreet communications, such as hospitality, retail, and security.

The new line of BearCom audio accessories is intended for use with two MOTOTRBO models, the Motorola XPR3300 and Motorola XPR3500. Both combine best-in-class audio and analog interoperability, so organizations can migrate toward digital technology at their own pace. The XPR3500 adds a visual display.

The new line also augments the Vertex Standard EVX-531 digital portable radio and the company’s VX-450 Series models. The EVX-531 is a talk-and-listen radio with dual analog and digital functionality. The analog VX-450 Series includes the VX-451, VX-454, and VX-459. Each has built-in emergency and lone worker alerts, and the most advanced model can manage up to 32 call groups.

BearCom is no stranger to company-branded products. The BC95 portable two-way radio is manufactured exclusively for BearCom by Vertex Standard, the BC100 model comes from Icom America, and the BC130 is manufactured by Motorola Solutions. Lightweight and compact, the BC130 is one of BearCom’s most popular models, especially when it comes to two-way radio rentals.
