The communication system will be used for communications within the distribution center that is based in Milton Keynes.

Hytera will deliver a DMR-system to River Island, a fashion company based in the United Kingdom. The communication system will be used for communications within the distribution center based in Milton Keynes.  The big advantage of the new system compared to the old analogue system is that the by installing the digital system, the coverage of the system will be increased.  Something the company values as very important.

River Island purchased Hytera PD785 radio’s and the Hytera DMR MD785 base station. The biggest advantage however is that with the new DMR system user groups are able to simultaneously communicate over on channel.

Hytera is using the so called "pseudo trunking." With "pseudo trunking" it will not be necessarily for River Island to purchase a new frequency. Another advantage is that the control room will be able to monitor two channels without changing the channel all the time.
