Teltronic installs the first TETRA network in Trujillo, Peru.

TELTRONIC SAU, the leading developer company of TETRA radio communication systems in Latin America , launched in 2013 the first TETRA communication network, in the Provincial Municipality of Trujillo.

As explained from the Mayor office, "the installation of this system allows critical communications that improves the preventive and corrective service on citizen security concerns." In fact, thanks to the implementation of this network, the City stands at the forefront in the installation of telecommunications systems to combat the crime.

This TETRA radio network includes a central node with ample growth to the province, repeating systems to provide adequate coverage to the city, hand-portable units and mobile units, monitored by GPS , which allows locate users in real time, in addition to an emergency call center.

Additionally , for the first time Serenazgo agents, in the service of the citizens of Trujillo, have an Intelligent Patrol. Trujillo’s vehicles has been incorporated with a smart board console, which incorporates a video surveillance system, access to databases and other computer applications, allowing security officers to access real time information.

This TETRA radio network worked during the XVII Trujillo 2013 Bolivarian Games, which were held safely beyond all expectations.

"This new trunked radio system allows migration to Digital and IP communications era. With this new technology, calls allegations from Trujillo population will be met in full, and the GPS positioning can meet emergencies more efficiently, saving time, and providing better quality of service to the citizens”, said Carlos Montero Chunga, Systems Manager of the MPT.
