Nødnett user days to be held on 2nd and 3rd April 2014

According to Nødnett, this is one of the most important meeting points for the exchange of experiences, ideas and information about emergency communications in Norway.

Directorate for Emergency Communication in Norway announced the invitation to the Nødnett days, that will happen on the 2nd and 3rd of April 2014. Both days will be held in Nydalen in Oslo.

Agenda:

On the first Nødnett user day (2 April), Nødnett will focus on the user experience. How is Nødnett today? Do we exploit the potential? How is Nødnett technology in comparison to similar networks in other countries?

Furthermore
Nødnett will demonstrate data transmission over Nødnett (TEDS) and the organization will invite radio suppliers to display some of their products.

On the second Nødnett user day (3
April)
Nødnett will focus on the major issues related to Nødnett TETRA network: Nødnett current and future needs, robustness of telecommunication systems. What experiences do have other countries with their version of Nødnett? What is the next technological development?
 
On the evening of 2nd April a dinner will be arranged for those participants who have had the opportunity to participate.

Both days will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel and costs NOK 500 per person. The event is open to all, but has a limited number of participants due to space considerations. Therefore register early to secure your place . You can choose to attend one or both days.
