“SportsAid is a charity that financially helps young talented sportspeople to achieve sporting success and we are proud to work with them again,” says Richard Bobbett, CEO of Airwave.

Airwave’s support for SportsAid recently saw 20 young athletes each receive a cheque for £1,000 to support them in their pursuit of sporting success.

This is the second year running that Airwave has worked with the SportsAid charity.

“SportsAid is a charity that financially helps young talented sportspeople to achieve sporting success and we are proud to work with them again,” says Richard Bobbett, CEO of Airwave.

All 20 athletes were presented with their cheque by a nominated Airwave buddy, who will keep in touch with them throughout the year and report back to colleagues on their achievements throughout the year.

“The Airwave buddy programme has been set up to pair athletes with Airwave employees. Staff put aside time to help and encourage the young athletes,” adds Richard.
