Rohill wins Oil and Gas contract in Norway

Delivering its TetraNode Industrial system through its Norwegian partner TC Connect.

Statoil, the Norwegian Oil and Gas company, has awarded TC Connect AS a frame agreement to deliver Rohill TETRA systems for up to six years. The agreement covers Rohill TETTRA systems and TETRA radio terminals to installations onshore and offshore in Norway and international areas.

The first Rohill TETRA system will be delivered in October 2011. It is a fully redundant TetraNode Industrial based solution for an offshore installation in the North Sea. The delivery includes a TETRA conferencing solution, meeting the requirement for secure and reliable crane radio communications. The system also includes gateways to external systems such as paging, Public Address, analogue radio and telephony.
