National Wireless and Mobile Tornado Announce Partnership to Bring Advanced Push-to-Talk and Mission Critical Communications to Australia and New Zealand

New National Distribution Agreement pairs National Wireless's deep expertise in Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) with Mobile Tornado's extensive solution portfolio, including its newly launched Mission Critical Push-to-Talk offering (MCX).

National Wireless, a leading provider of wireless communications solutions across Australia and New Zealand, and Mobile Tornado, a global specialist in push-to-talk over cellular (PoC) and mission critical communications technology (MCX), has announced a new partnership.

Under the agreement, National Wireless becomes the exclusive distributor of Mobile Tornado’s full communications platform across the Australian and New Zealand markets, including Mobile Tornado’s newly launched Mission Critical Push-to-Talk solution. National Wireless is working to engage with a network of resellers or large owner operators to distribute Mobile Tornado software.

The partnership brings together National Wireless’s established expertise in Push-to-Talk over Cellular technology and more than 30 years of experience designing and delivering wireless communications infrastructure, with Mobile Tornado’s extensive solution capability spanning everyday PoC communications through to mission critical, 3GPP-standards-based Push-to-Talk.

Customers across Australia and New Zealand will gain access to Mobile Tornado’s full suite of applications — from core voice, messaging and video, through to lone worker safety, GPS tracking, dispatch and incident management — as well as its newly launched Mission Critical Push-to-Talk offering, built to the 3GPP Mission Critical standard for organisations with the most demanding communication requirements.
