Historical Overview of the Partnership
Over the past several years, DAMM DK and Consort Digital worked closely together through a formal joint venture known as DAMM India, established to combine DAMM’s world‑class digital radio infrastructure with Consort Digital’s regional system integration and deployment expertise. This collaboration was central to the delivery of mission‑critical communications systems for large public transport and metro projects in India and other markets.
Key collaborative achievements included:
- Pune Metro Rail Projects – A combined radio communications solution featuring DAMM indoor systems, Consort Digital’s train radio systems and integrated handsets supported critical operations across extensive track coverage and multiple lines.
- Nagpur Metro System Deployment – DAMM’s TetraFlex® infrastructure, delivered in partnership with Consort Digital, provided scalable, flexible radio communications tailored to metro requirements.
- Other transportation and infrastructure deployments where DAMM technology and Consort Digital’s integration capabilities contributed to safety and operational needs across rail networks.
These joint efforts combined DAMM’s flexible, open‑architecture radio platforms with Consort Digital’s local project execution, supporting major investments in mission‑critical communications for transit authorities and public safety organisations.
Forward‑Looking Direction
DAMM remains committed to delivering industry‑leading mission‑critical communications solutions, emphasising direct engagement with its global partner and service ecosystem. The company reiterates that all future sales, service, support, and warranty requests for DAMM‑branded products must be sourced through DAMM DK and its authorised channels.
