Motorola Solutions Buys Silent Sentinel, a Long-Range Camera Specialist

Motorola Solutions (NYSE: MSI) has completed the acquisition of Silent Sentinel, a Ware, United Kingdom-based provider of specialized long-range cameras.

Thermal cameras from Silent Sentinel provide unobstructed visibility in the complex and extreme environments that are linked to military, aviation, maritime, and critical infrastructure sectors. These cameras are specifically engineered to function in the most severe conditions. Sophisticated detection capabilities enable the cameras of Silent Sentinel to detect anomalies from a distance of up to 30 kilometers (20 miles), thereby bolstering security perimeters and facilitating prompt, well-informed responses.
