The new range comprises two primary solutions, the Online Body Worn Camera and the Offline Body Worn Camera, each engineered to meet the diverse requirements of various industries.

Instacom, a pioneer in advanced communication and security technologies based in South Africa,  announced the official launch of its revolutionary Body Worn Camera (BWC) solutions. This latest addition to Instacom’s product line is set to transform the landscape of operational security and efficiency, offering unparalleled features and robust performance.

Instacom’s BWC solutions are a fusion of latest technology and user-centric design. The range comprises two primary solutions, the Online Body Worn Camera and the Offline Body Worn Camera, each engineered to meet the diverse requirements of various industries.

The Online BWC solution integrates LTE and Wi-Fi capabilities to enable real-time video streaming. It allows frontline workers and security personnel to stream live footage directly to a central Video Dispatcher or to other BWCs, ensuring immediate response and coordination. This solution is ideal for law enforcement, emergency services, and security teams who require real-time monitoring and communication.

For scenarios where, constant connectivity is not feasible, the Offline BWC solution stands out. It focuses on high-quality local recording, with the ability to upload the footage later. The solution is perfect for areas with limited network coverage, offering reliability and high-resolution video capture for later review and analysis.

At the heart of Instacom’s BWC solutions are the CX6 LTE Body Camera. The CX6, compatible with both Online and Offline solutions, offering extended battery life that is hot swappable ensuring no disruption in operation during battery charge, high-definition video capture, and user-friendly operation.

Instacom’s BWC solutions are complemented by a suite of software applications, including the Video Dispatcher Software for centralised control and the Digital Evidence Management Software (DEMS), which simplifies evidence handling and storage.
