With the new solution and IHM Alarm Management Software, the customer has a future-proof telephony and alarm management system that is scalable and can be integrated into other business systems.

Due to the discontinuation of ISDN lines in Denmark, IHM, a Danish company that supplies complete bespoke critical communication systems, has converted an alarm management systems to SIP telephony throughout 2022 for one of their customers that manages 700 elevator alarms. IHMs' task wase to convert the alarm reception to an up-to-date IP-solution and establishing a two-way communication solution.

The prerequisite for the delivery was that the solution had to be put into operation before Christmas 2022 and with startup in week 48. IHM took up the challenge with a successful outcome. Both the customer and IHM were fully satisfied with the process.

"Thanks to a very good and smooth collaboration with the customer, IHM managed to complete the project within the very tight schedule. In week 51, a super user course for operators and commissioning finalized the project",

says Michael Sass Andersen, who was IHM's project manager on the job.

For completion of a project within a very short time, it is extremely important that all parties deliver at the agreed time. Thereby you minimize wasted time, which is often what drags a project into the long haul, Andersen completed.

With the new SIP solution and IHM AMS, the customer has a future-proof telephony and alarm management system that is scalable and can be integrated into other business systems.
