JVCKENWOOD Obtains ISMS Certification for its Public Service Sector

The JVCKENWOOD Public Service Sector consists of the Communications Systems Business, the Professional Systems Business and Healthcare Business.

JVCKENWOOD Corporation today announced that it has acquired the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 international standards for information security management system (ISMS*1) and JIS Q 27001:2014 Japanese industrial standards certifications for its Public Service Sector, which consists of the Communications Systems Business, the Professional Systems Business*2, and the Healthcare Business.

The three businesses of the PS Sector operate a solution business designed for customer value creation, ranging from equipment to systems and services, with a commitment to providing products and services to protect people’s lives and living, and safety in society. The acquisition of these certifications is proof that the PS System Sector’s management system for the information assets it owns, as well as information, etc., obtained from customers and business partners in various countries where it operates business, is certified by third-party organizations to conform to the certification standards.
