ICERT Leadership Announces Survey Results and Recognizes Impact of Social Media

The Industry Council for Emergency Response Technologies (ICERT) received valuable feedback from its members who shared their their opinions, suggestions and criticisms.

ICERT (The Industry Council for Emergency Response Technologies), the exclusive trade association championing commercial public safety response technology providers, software developers and related organizations, announced the results of its 2019 member survey.

ICERT received valuable feedback from its members, who shared their their opinions, suggestions, and criticisms.

As a result of the survey, the ICERT Strategic Planning Committee developed an action plan with specific deadlines for early 2020 implementation. One of the key take aways is that ICERT recognized that it should do better on both internal and external communication. On this point, ICERT took immediate action and established a new Marketing Committee, overhauling iCERT’s social media identity.

Part of the new approach to social media marketing are immediate action to; create a new homepage and special news page; establish a new FaceBook page, YouTube channel as well as a new Instagram account. Finally, ICERT will also re-start its LinkedIn page and reenergize its Twitter identity.

We capture everything from discussions of cutting edge tech technology to video introductions of our members, for their use with potential customers and the public. No other trade association in public safety technology shares our unique perspective and members, so we have a special opportunity to assist our members, and potential members, with communal knowledge and expertise."
