T.E.S.S FZCO - Wunderkind Dispatching solution

Wunderkind is a dispatching system and designed as a modular system that is upgradeable with plug-in modules as required and can be interfaced with different external systems. The user management as well as the various available interfaces make it extreme

Wunderkind at a glance

Naturally Wunderkind Dispatcher masters all of usual voice and data call functions (emergency call, announcement call, call request listing, full- and semi-duplex calls to other networks).  Refer to the Datasheet.

However, there are a number of call features which deserve highlighting:

Dynamic Group Number Assignment (DGNA)
This feature is particularly useful when working with Vehicle and Personnel Location (AVL/ APL).  The function is used to assign and remove mobiles from TETRA groups dynamically. Some operational situations make this function extremely useful, such as an emergency incident or inter-departmental joint operations.  Situations like these typically involve police forces, rescue services, technical maintenance and administrative organization.
Dispatcher can easy select subscribers from any organization or department and add them to one temporary group (also known as regrouping or dynamic grouping).
After the situation is resolved the group is dispersed by the Dispatcher.

Call Authorized by Dispatcher (CAD)

Often requested by operators, who need to keep communication behaviour and resources access under control: Dispatcher can act as a manual call dispatcher. He may, on request and at his discretion, permit and connect calls, which are normally not permitted. The unauthorized use of pay-services, such as PSTN access from the TETRA radio terminals, can thus be controlled.

Call monitoring

The dispatcher can have access (if enabled and permitted by the administrator) to voice call monitoring.  Call monitoring is discreet, that means the talking parties are not being notified.Dispatcher is coordinating the tasks and communications of the allocated to him groups.
Any ongoing voice call (in general or only for groups and subscribers coordinated by him) is presented on his screen, even if it is a one-to-one call without him.
Dispatcher can listen to this call, intervene or even interrupt the call.
The function can be set for all or for specific subscribers or groups.

Ambience listening

In extension of call monitoring, ambience listing function is included.  This mode allows the dispatcher to open the radio terminal’s microphone without any indication to the radio user, and listen to the environmental communication.
(This feature must be supported by the TETRA radio terminal.)This is a useful function for radios used in public transport, security services or emergency response.
It enables the voice monitoring of a possible emergency situation.
Dispatcher and radio user have the possibility to initiate an Ambience Listening call.
