First GCF-based IOP campaign supports Frequentis in securing certification for its MissionX Android SDK.

RISE's AstaZero proving ground has completed its first Interoperability Testing (IOP) campaign recognised by the Global Certification Forum (GCF), supporting Frequentis in achieving GCF IOP certification for its MissionX Android SDK.

The milestone establishes AstaZero as a GCF-recognised IOP Test House for mission-critical communication services.

Commenting on the achievement, Peter Janevik, CEO of AstaZero, said:

"As mission-critical communication systems become increasingly interconnected, interoperability is essential. This first certification project demonstrates our capability to help the industry verify that products and systems from different vendors work together reliably in practice."

The certification underscores the growing importance of vendor-neutral interoperability testing as mission-critical broadband and mobile critical communication ecosystems continue to expand across multiple suppliers and platforms.
