JUMA closes the PPE gap with Voxear Protect

JUMA Communications, a UK-based specialist distributor of professional audio accessories and communication solutions, has announced a new distribution partnership with Swedish hearing protection and communications specialist, Voxear Technologies AB.

The agreement brings Voxear Protect, the company’s award-winning, EN352-certified Bluetooth in-ear hearing protection, to our dealers. The product has been independently verified to meet the demands of professional and industrial environments where both noise attenuation and operational communication are critical requirements.

Voxear Protect is designed for users who require certified hearing protection with ambient listening capability, but who may be unable to wear traditional over-ear defenders alongside other PPE, such as face masks, safety eyewear or helmets. By combining in-ear hearing protection with wireless Bluetooth connectivity, the product supports communication, usability and wearer comfort while removing the need for cabling. Key features include noise protection up to SNR35, IP67-rated earphones, multipoint Bluetooth pairing, physical buttons and up to 40 hours of connected use via the charging case. 

JUMA has already carried out extensive compatibility testing, confirming integration with the Vokkero Guardian full-duplex communication system and its range of JBD2 Bluetooth dongles. The product also works natively with Android and iOS devices for hands-free calls and multimedia control.

For organisations using MCX and Push-to-Talk over Cellular (POC) applications, Voxear Protect also offers strong integration potential with platforms including GroupTalk, Zello and Cryptify, with further application support already in development.
