Building on its strong position in the UK alarm signalling market, AddSecure is expanding its portfolio with advanced push-to-talk solutions designed to enhance safety, improve efficiency, and enable real-time collaboration for mobile workforces.

AddSecure, a leading European provider of secure IoT connectivity and end-to-end solutions, today announced the launch of its innovative cloud-based push-to-talk (PTT) solutions in the UK. These solutions enable secure, reliable, and efficient communication for organisations operating in critical and demanding environments.

The launch broadens AddSecure’s UK offering, bringing enhanced capabilities and greater choice to both new and existing customers operating in critical industries such as security, transportation, public services, and field operations.

“We’re excited to bring our cloud-based push-to-talk solutions to the UK. With over a decade of experience in secure critical communications across Europe, we deliver reliable, innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support installers and businesses as they modernise alarm systems,” says Stefan Albertsson, CEO of AddSecure.

The PTT launch introduces a complete solution for real-time communication and operational efficiency, trusted by major brands such as Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), Tempest Security and Volvo. AddSecure’s cloud-based push-to-talk portfolio includes the GroupTalk app, which turns smartphones into two-way radios; PC Dispatch for multi-team coordination, emergency alerts, GPS tracking and live video; and push-to-talk over cellular (PoC) radios with PTT accessories for seamless integration.

“With our new push-to-talk solutions, UK mobile workforces gain secure, real-time group communication. With just one push of a button, users can instantly reach their teams, and when seconds count, the personal alarm ensures colleagues, control rooms or Alarm Receiving Centres are immediately alerted,” adds Nicholas Whiting, VP Alarm Signalling, AddSecure UK.

AddSecure entered the UK alarm signalling market in June 2024 to ensure continuity following BT Redcare’s closure and introduced its Next Generation Portfolio of alarm signalling products. Building on its Nordic heritage in telecom and security, the company has pioneered cloud-based critical communication solutions since the early 2000s, including Scandinavia’s first bank-approved mobile alarm service.

With the PTT launch, AddSecure continues its mission to make the world a safer and smarter place by delivering secure critical communications solutions to UK customers
