Mobile Tornado to Unveil New MT110 Push-to-Talk Device at TCCA Critical Communications World 2026
The UK-based PoC specialist will launch the first in a new generation of purpose-built mission-critical devices at ExCeL London in June.
Mobile Tornado has confirmed that it will use TCCA Critical Communications World 2026, taking place at ExCeL London from 16 to 18 June, as the launch venue for the first of a new generation of Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) devices designed specifically for the critical communications sector. The announcement signals a renewed hardware push by the company alongside its established PoC software portfolio.
The new device, designated the MT110, has been engineered around simplicity. The screenless terminal is intended to pair directly with Mobile Tornado's Basic push-to-talk service plan and has been developed for organisations that require reliable, instant voice communication without the additional complexity or cost of a display-based device. According to the company, the MT110 is positioned as a cost-effective replacement for traditional DMR radios, targeting operators looking to migrate legacy fleets onto modern broadband PoC infrastructure while retaining the straightforward user experience that frontline teams are accustomed to.
Mobile Tornado has indicated that the MT110 represents only the opening move in its 2026 product strategy. The company has confirmed that a further, entirely new product will also be revealed at the show, although details of that second launch are being withheld until the event itself.
The combined announcements underline a broader industry trend, with established PoC providers increasingly investing in dedicated, ruggedised hardware to complement their network and platform offerings, rather than relying solely on consumer smartphones to deliver mission-critical voice services.
Visitors to TCCA Critical Communications World 2026 will be able to see the MT110, and the company's second new launch, at the Mobile Tornado stand C30 throughout the three-day event in London.
