With Fusion Link, FirstNet Fusion enables tactical interoperability by integrating with virtually any traditional radio system used by public safety agencies.

FirstNet, Built with AT&T, today introduces FirstNet Fusion, a next-generation mission-critical communications platform designed to unify all first responders, regardless of carrier or agency affiliation. Fusion integrates push-to-talk, NextGen 9-1-1 dispatch, and connected devices into a single, secure platform, enhancing interoperability, situational awareness, and emergency response efficiency.

FirstNet has launched FirstNet Fusion, a groundbreaking platform set to transform public safety communications. Designed for interoperability across jurisdictions, carriers, and devices, Fusion delivers a seamless experience that combines push-to-talk, NextGen 9-1-1 dispatch, and connected devices into one unified solution.

With Fusion Link, FirstNet Fusion enables tactical interoperability by integrating with virtually any traditional radio system used by public safety agencies. Built on open 3GPP and APCO P25 standards, Fusion eliminates the limitations of closed or proprietary solutions, allowing agencies to create customizable talkgroups rapidly and communicate across networks with unprecedented efficiency.

Fusion also integrates directly with leading public safety technology ecosystems, including Axon’s Fusus situational awareness platform and Carbyne’s cloud-native APEX 9-1-1 call-handling platform. These integrations provide first responders with real-time access to location data, live video feeds, and critical emergency information, reducing response times and enhancing situational awareness.

“FirstNet is in a league of its own – and Fusion reinforces our commitment to equipping all first responders with the tools they need to protect communities and save lives,” said Scott Agnew, President of FirstNet, AT&T.

Available initially to select agencies in November with a full launch early next year, FirstNet Fusion promises to be the most affordable mission-critical push-to-talk solution in the industry. Individual first responders can also subscribe directly and receive exclusive savings.
