Advanced DMR System Enhances Security at Barcelona's Gran Vía 2 Shopping Centre

New digital radio network ensures reliable, real-time coordination for security operations.

A new Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) communication system from Caltta Technologies is now fully operational at Gran Vía 2, the major commercial hub adjacent to Fira Barcelona in Barcelona. Deployed in partnership with Troncal Radio, the system delivers reliable, seamless communications to enhance operational efficiency for private security teams across the complex.

The ETSI-compliant solution provides stable connectivity in the high-traffic environment, ensuring fast, clear voice communication and reliable short data capabilities. This enables security personnel to coordinate in real-time and manage incidents more effectively.
