Servitron Acquires Expressradio, Inc. in Strategic Move to Enter US Market
Servitron, a Mexico City-based provider of mission-critical radio communication solutions, has announced the acquisition of Expressradio, Inc., marking the company's entry into the United States market with a strategic focus on South Florida. The transaction represents a significant milestone in Servitron's growth and extends the company's long-standing focus on Motorola Solutions technology into a new geography.
Under the terms of the acquisition, Servitron will retain Expressradio's existing personnel, ensuring continuity of operations and maintaining the standard of service the company's customers and partners have come to rely on. The combined organisation will continue to strengthen its portfolio of Motorola Solutions radio communication solutions, extending its presence across the region.
Eli Esquivel, who played a central role in bringing the acquisition to completion, joins Servitron as part of the transaction. Tom Herbert was also recognised for his contribution throughout the process, having supported the deal through to its successful closing.
In a statement, Servitron thanked its customers and partners for their continued confidence, crediting their support as a driving factor behind the company's expansion. The company said it remains committed to growth within the sector and to strengthening its connections across the industry.
Servitron has operated in the critical communications sector for more than 15 years, supplying trunking and TETRA-based radio communication services to public and private sector organisations across Mexico, including clients in logistics, transportation, manufacturing and private security, with coverage spanning major cities such as Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara and Veracruz. The company has maintained a long-standing partnership with Motorola Solutions, and the acquisition of Expressradio extends that focus into the US market for the first time.
