TTG Group CEO Mike Norfield looks at the importance of investment in R&D to growth

"Developing new, useful and sought after technologies is a core activity across our group and it is this focus that has paved our expansion into new markets and secured a great number of global customer wins."

This week, Simoco announced the availability of its 50 Watt base station. TTG Group CEO Mike Norfield says in his Blog that this launch was part of a portfolio of releases by Simoco radio system design and manufacturing business and underlines the TTG group-wide strategy of investing in R&D.

Norfield continues in his Blog: "Through affini we invest in developing and building software and hardware solutions and at Indigo we design and build global telecommunications networks. We have worked with a wide range of customers and partners including governments, public safety agencies, mobile operators and utility providers to develop communications solutions and products that meet their exact needs."

"Everyone talks about solutions consultation and solutions architecture but very few companies are actually involved in an end-to-end process that takes a customer’s needs through design and delivery stages and then on to business-as-usual operations."

'Our mantra is ‘consult, build, operate’, and as a company we can categorically state that we undertake, and excel in all three of these aspects."

Here are some of Norfields favourite projects of the last 12 months from across the TTG group of businesses.
