Nedaa throws spotlight on latest wireless communication services during Critical Communications Middle East 2014

edaa, Dubai Government's specialized communication services provider over TETRA network, has highlighted its latest wireless communication services during its participation in the second edition of CCME as an operating partner.

Under the theme "Ensuring Effective and Critical Communications Today and Tomorrow", CCME 2014 was inaugurated by Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazina, Commander-In-Chief of Dubai Police ,who reviewed the latest products and services in the field of specialized communications at the event. CCME is regardedas a global platform that has succeeded in attracting international safety and security companies, which have leveraged the event's status to shed light on their newest technology inproviding safety and security to the society.

Mansoor Bu Osaiba, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Nedaa Corporation, said: "The Critical Communications Middle East 2014 Conference and Exhibition has successfully attracted the participation of leading local and international companies that have benefited from the event's pioneering status to review their products and services in the fields of specialized communications, safety, security, and public transport, as well as during crises, disasters and emergencies".
Bu Osaiba added: "Nedaa is the first corporation in the Middle East to operate the TETRA network - the fastest wireless communications network in the world, as part of its commitment to providing high-quality and safe services to critical projects in line with Dubai's smart city aspirations. Nedaa is currently working on developing the fourth-generation network to provide data and video transfer services to safety and security industries in Dubai. During the pilot phase of the project, Nedaa, in cooperation with Dubai Police , has provided video transfer services to transfer footage from Police patrols to the operations room at Dubai Police headquarters".

At CCME, Abdulla Al Falasi, Director of Commercial Affairs at Nedaa, who spoke on behalf of the organization, highlighted theprojects carried out by the corporation, including Dubai Tram, which is set to be officially launched on November 11.
Nedaa is providing all the indoor coverage systems and equipment to all tram stations across the network, as well as Al Maktoom International Airport, which, when completed, will be the largest airport in the world.

Al Falasi also highlighted pipeline projects with a number of partners like Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Dubai Airports, Dubai Police , as well as other local authorities. Al Falasi drew the attention of the audience to Nedaa's comprehensive portfolio of services in the wireless communications sector, including data and video transfer services over the fourth-generation network, image transfer services, providing equipment to control rooms and others.
