HCI Energy Launches its Power Cabinet: A Smart, Battery-first Power Platform with Data-driven Alerts and Remote Monitoring
HCI Energy, LLC, a leader in resilient hybrid energy systems, is proud to announce the launch of its Power Cabinet, a smart, compact power platform engineered to meet growing customer demand for more flexible, scalable power solutions for critical communications infrastructure. The Power Cabinet rounds out HCI Energy's product line as a mid-priced solution for organizations who want HCI's Zero-glitch Power Module (ZPM) technology in a turnkey enclosure, but do not need a full-scale Hybrid Power Shelter.
Designed in direct response to input from public safety agencies, tower infrastructure companies, broadband providers and mobile network operators, the Power Cabinet brings HCI Energy's field-proven power management technology to a wider range of deployment scenarios—from retrofitting legacy sites to supporting greenfield builds with reliable, intelligent backup or prime power.
"The Power Cabinet is about access," said Joe Kessinger, CEO of HCI Energy. "Our Zero-glitch Power Module (ZPM)has already proven itself as a prized standalone solution and integrated into our Hybrid Power Shelter—but not every site is suited to either of these options. By delivering our technology in a new form factor, we're opening the door for more organizations to harden their networks, cut downtime, and gain true power intelligence."
Ernie Miller, Owner and Operator of Midwest Mobile Radio and HCI Energy customer, attests to the value of the company's ZPM technology.
"At Midwest Mobile Radio, we keep dozens of public safety sites running, so anything we install has to be rock-solid. When a customer's UPS-backed sites failed, I turned to HCI Energy's Zero-glitch Power Module. With its integrated batteries and remote monitoring, it's in a league of its own."
Miller continued: "We used to worry about downtime every time the grid blinked—now we don't even think about it. Since we deployed the ZPM, it's been flawless. Install was fast, and now I can check system status remotely at any time. For me, there's no comparison—this is the solution I trust for public safety infrastructure."
