TAIT Executives Honoured at 2025 RFUANZ Gala Dinner
During the recent The Radio Frequency Users Association of New Zealand (RFUANZ) Gala Dinner, two members of the Tait team were honored for their exceptional contributions to the critical communications industry:
Ian Gardiner, Tait’s History Curator and a founding member of the company, was honored with the Lifetime Service Award.
Andrew McTaggart, Senior Service Delivery Manager, received the Standout Performer Award.
These awards symbolize not just their personal accomplishments but also the principles that persist in defining Tait’s legacy and future. Ian became a part of Tait in 1966 and has made significant contributions in engineering, manufacturing, and international sales. Currently fulfilling the role of History Curator, Ian is instrumental in safeguarding the company’s legacy. His technical innovations, such as the hot standby unit for NZ Post and the T193 FM Mobile Radio, have made a significant impact on our product history.
The Lifetime Service Award honors individuals who have demonstrated remarkable dedication and enduring commitment to the industry. Ian’s five-decade commitment and enthusiasm for guiding others position him as a highly worthy recipient.
