EMW Announces Agenda of the CCExpo PMR Communications and Control Rooms Congress

Critical Communications Expo is the neutral platform independent of associations for mission critical information and communications, PMR and control rooms in all fields of critical infrastructure at national and international level.

This year CCExpo will take place again with all its elements including the ICR International Control Rooms Congress = 14. Official Control Rooms Congress and the Communications Congress, independently as open specialised trade fair in the Congress Center of Messe Frankfurt on 3 and 4 May.

EMW Exhibition & Media Wehrstedt GmbH, the organiser of the event, announced this week the congress agenda and it looks like it is going to be an event that touches almost all topics that are currently being discussed in the industry.

For the Communications Congress EMW already offer the following lectures:

  • Opening and greeting by the patron Minister of State Peter Beuth, Minister of the Interior and Sport for the State of Hesse
  • The future orientation and the extension of the tasks of BDBOS in the course of the digitalisation of official ICT at Federal level and in the Länder; Andreas Gegenfurthner, President BDBOS
  • ICT security for critical Infrastructures and respective services provided by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI); Arne Schönbohm, President BSI

For the Control Rooms Congress (moderator: Gerhard Schulz, former Head of German Working Group Control Rooms) you can look forward to the following topics:

Note: Although CCExpo is an international congress, the majority of the sessions will held in German language. However, as we just heard, the organisation might to decide to simultaneously translate the sessions in English language, depending on the number of international guests that will register for the event.
