Sepura Supports Cambridge Dons Goalball Club with Kit Upgrade

Cambridge Don’s new Sepura-sponsored kits made their debut at the club’s recent

Sepura announced that the company is proud to partner with Cambridge Dons Goalball Club, supporting the roll-out of their brand-new kit. This sponsorship helps the club continue creating opportunities for people with visual impairments across Cambridgeshire to participate and compete in sport.

The kit upgrade is more than a fresh look; it reflects Cambridge Dons’ commitment to inclusion, community, and accessibility, values that Sepura proudly shares.

What is Goalball?
Goalball is a fast-paced Paralympic sport played indoors by teams of three. All players wear eyeshades, levelling the playing field and making the game truly inclusive – even fully sighted players can join in. Relying entirely on hearing and touch, athletes experience a unique blend of strategy and teamwork.

We would like to thank Sepura for their support and sponsorship for our new club goalball kit. As a community club, we aim to provide access to goalball for as many people with and without visual impairments as possible. At our recent friendly tournament, players were able to try the new tops and represent Cambridge Dons Goalball Club.

Cambridge Dons Goalball Club began its journey in January 2012. With support from Cambridge City Council, the club set out to provide visually impaired athletes with an inclusive space and community, where everyone regardless of sight, could experience competitive sport. Just months later, they won a medal at their first novice tournament – a sign of things to come. It set the tone for what would become an inspiring story of growth, resilience, and achievement.

Today, Cambridge Dons is one of the UK’s largest Goalball clubs, nurturing young talent and fostering a strong sense of community. Four Great Britain players have emerged from their ranks, a testament to their dedication and success.
