Motorola Solutions Reports Record Q3 2025 Revenue, Earnings, and Cash Flow; Raises Full-Year Outlook
Motorola Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: MSI) today announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2025, highlighting record revenue, earnings, and operating cash flow, and raising its full-year earnings outlook.
Quarterly Performance Highlights:
- Q3 revenue reached $3.0 billion, an 8% increase compared with the same period last year.
- Growth was driven by robust demand across North America and international markets.
- Revenue contributions from acquisitions totaled $123 million, complemented by $21 million in favorable foreign currency effects.
- GAAP earnings per share (EPS) were $3.33, up 1% versus a year ago, while non-GAAP EPS rose 9% to $4.06.
- Record Q3 operating cash flow totaled $799 million, an increase of $40 million versus Q3 2024.
- Free cash flow reached $733 million.
- Products and Systems Integration revenue grew 6%, driven by Mission Critical Networks (MCN) and Video Security and Access Control (Video). Software and Services revenue rose 11%, supported by MCN, Command Center, and Video solutions.
The company ended the quarter with a record backlog of $14.6 billion, up $467 million from Q3 2024, reflecting strong order intake across both Products and Systems Integration and Software and Services.

Other significant wins included mobile video deployments for the New York State Park Police and P25 services orders for international customers such as the Buenos Aires Police and the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior, further strengthening Motorola Solutions’ global footprint.
Revenue Drivers: North America led overall revenue growth, while international markets contributed through system upgrades, services, and mobile video deployments. Software and Services continue to be a key growth driver, delivering double-digit revenue increases.
Outlook: For the fourth quarter of 2025, Motorola Solutions expects approximately 11% revenue growth compared with Q4 2024 and non-GAAP EPS in the range of $4.30–$4.36. Full-year 2025 revenue guidance remains approximately $11.65 billion, representing 7.7% growth, while non-GAAP EPS guidance has been raised to $15.09–$15.15 per share.
