Santa Maria, Motorola Solutions plan communications technology summit

The city of Santa Maria, CA and Motorola Solutions announced that they will host a free, all-day technology summit next Wednesday at the Radisson Hotel. Businesses, schools, hospitals, transit agencies and governments are encouraged to attend and learn how they can join the new regional communication system. During the summit, participants will learn how to leverage the city’s capital investment in next-generation technology, according to a spokesman. It may simplify their business or agency’s procurement process, potentially saving them money and empower superior radio communications, the spokesman added.

Learn firsthand from experts and experience live demonstrations about the 700 MHz shared radio, E-911 call-taking, computer-aided dispatch and records management communications. Motorola Solutions representatives will explain and demonstrate features of the communication technologies.
