Motorola Solutions Names New General Manager for Israel

Avraham Ben David will lead the company’s public safety and commercial business in the Israeli market Ben David replaces Shimon Dick, who recently retired after 40 years in the company.

Motorola Solutions today announced the appointment of Avraham Ben David (Benda) as general manager of Motorola Solutions Israel.

Ben-David joined Motorola in 2008 and has since managed direct sales for the Israeli market, leading sales of Motorola Solutions products to government bodies, public security and commercial customers in the local market.

Ben-David replaces Shimon Dick, who previously served as general manager of Motorola Solutions Israel and recently retired after 40 years with the company.

Prior to joining Motorola, Ben-David spent 30 years in the Israel Defense Forces. He served as chief engineering officer, chief of staff for the home front command, commander of the Judea and Samaria division and more, and he was discharged with the rank of brigadier general.
