Network Innovations UK Awarded Multi-Year Government Contract for Satellite-Enabled Personnel Tracking Solution

Under the agreement, Network Innovations will provide a secure, resilient, and globally distributed architecture to host and manage the department’s personnel and vehicle tracking capability.

Network Innovations has been awarded a multi-year contract with a UK Government Department for the delivery of a new satellite-enabled personnel tracking and situational awareness solution, supporting staff deployed across the globe. 

Under the agreement, Network Innovations will provide a secure, resilient, and globally distributed architecture to host and manage the department’s personnel and vehicle tracking capability. The solution has been specifically designed and deployed across multiple international locations, ensuring continuous availability and operational resilience for users in complex and often remote environments. 

A key element of the capability is the integration with the TAK (Team Awareness Kit) ecosystem, a widely adopted real-time situational awareness, coordination, and mapping platform used extensively across defence and security organisations, including Five Eyes partners and NATO member states. This integration enables enhanced operational visibility, improved mission coordination, and faster decision-making in dynamic environments.

The system also supports interoperability across multiple different tracking devices and platforms, allowing the department to consolidate data into a single operational picture while maintaining stringent security and governance requirements.
