The FirstNet Response Operations Group™ (ROG), led by former first responders, has positioned SatCOLTs (Satellite Cells on Light Trucks), CRDs (Compact Rapid Deployables), and miniCRDs around the circuit to ensure continuous, resilient connectivity throughout race week.
To maintain real-time coordination, FirstNet personnel are operating from within the Clark County Multi-Agency Coordination Center, working directly with Clark County Fire, the City of Las Vegas, and regional and federal partners. This integrated support helps agencies manage crowd safety, emergency responses, and contingency planning—all while commercial networks face immense pressure from tens of thousands of fans uploading content simultaneously.
