Toyota Chose Sure Antennas' "Mallard" Antenna for its Police and Fire and Rescue Vehicle Conversions.
The antenna works with the current Airwave network and is ready for the switch to the new Emergency Services Network (ESN).
Sure Antennas has said that it will work with Toyota on the company's newest programs to convert vehicles for police and fire and rescue use. As part of this partnership, Sure Antennas' 9-in-1 "Mallard" Antenna will be installed on all of the vehicles in the fleet. This will help emergency service organizations in the UK use more specialized vehicles more often.
Helping Emergency Vehicles Work Better
Toyota's emergency service vehicles are built and converted at the company's Burnaston facility to meet the high standards of frontline response. Members of the Sure Antennas team recently saw the installation of the "Mallard" Antenna on-site. This shows how important it is to work together early on to make sure that vehicle design and conversion go smoothly.
Laurence Culloty, Associate Director at Sure Antennas, said of the partnership,
"It's a real honor to be a part of this important conversion project." In the Blue Light industry, Toyota is highly regarded. Sure Antennas has a similar philosophy, putting quality and performance first. We are proud that our "Mallard" antennas will help the emergency services that these vehicles will serve.
The "Mallard": Making Fleets Future-Proof
The 9-in-1 "Mallard" Antenna was made to make sure that emergency service vehicles will still work in the future. The antenna works with the current Airwave network and is ready for the switch to the new Emergency Services Network (ESN). It also combines several functions into one simple solution. It has 2 LTE, 4 Wi-Fi, 2 GPS, and 1 TETRA, so you don't need to put up multiple antennas on the roof and you don't have to make as many changes to the vehicle. This design makes sure that emergency fleets will work well, be reliable, and be efficient for a long time.
Integrated Push-to-Talk Communications
Sure Antennas is also giving you an interior Push-to-Talk (PTT) button along with the antenna. This solution makes it possible for drivers and emergency response teams to talk to each other quickly and reliably, making sure that important information is sent clearly and without delay. The PTT function is especially useful in high-pressure work situations where speed and clarity are very important.
A Complete Solution for Emergency Fleets
The Toyota conversion program gives Fleet Managers a complete, or almost complete, solution that makes it easier for emergency service organizations to buy what they need. Customers also get a warranty from the manufacturer, which makes them even more confident in both the vehicles and the built-in communications technology.
