Southern Linc Expands Connectivity Solutions with New BEC Hotspot Routers
Southern Linc, the wireless communications provider known for delivering mission-critical LTE services across the Southeast of the U.S., has announced the expansion of its router portfolio with the addition of two hotspot-enabled BEC models: the MX-600 and MX-1200. These solutions are designed to provide customers with fast, reliable Wi-Fi access in both fixed and mobile environments, supporting industries that require uninterrupted connectivity, including public safety, education, and enterprise operations.
Unlike previous wired-only configurations, the new BEC routers enable multiple devices to connect simultaneously via hotspot, simplifying connectivity for teams in the field.
“The key difference is the hotspot capability. Customers can now connect multiple devices at once without needing a wired setup,” explained John Lutenbacher, Senior Data Market Sales Executive at Southern Linc.
The BEC MX-600 is an ideal solution for fixed locations such as homes, offices, and enterprise facilities. It also serves as a dependable LTE backup for organizations requiring redundancy when primary internet service is unavailable.
The BEC MX-1200 has been engineered with mobility in mind. Designed for public safety agencies, school systems, and other mobile workforces, the MX-1200 offers rugged construction, GPS functionality, and compatibility with external antennas for extended coverage. Its robust feature set makes it well-suited for in-vehicle deployments, ensuring reliable hotspot access on the move.
Both models are fully compatible with BECentral©, a cloud-based device management platform that allows IT administrators to monitor performance, signal strength, location, and device status in real time.
With the introduction of the MX-600 and MX-1200, Southern Linc reinforces its commitment to delivering reliable, flexible communications technology that meets the evolving needs of its customers.
