Strong focus of Hytera Developing Devices Serving Multiple Critical Communication Technologies and Integration of IoT

Earlier this month, Hytera joined the IWCE Critical LTE Communications Forum in Chicago where the company introduced their plans to roll out some pretty cool new stuff in 2017.

“Hytera’s Vision and Future Plan for Next Generation Broadband LTE Development”

Hytera Communications Co. Ltd, a world's leading solution provider of Professional Mobile Radio communications, presented the keynote at IWCE's Critical LTE Communications Forum, a new business technology conference focused on mission-critical LTE network solutions. The Forum took place November 2-3, 2016 at the McCormick Place in Chicago in tandem with Penton’s IoT Emerge.

Founded in 1993 in Shenzhen, China, Hytera has grown to be a key player in PMR (Professional Mobile Radio) communication industry with a large customer base in more than 120 countries and regions across the world. In China, Hytera's market share ranks 1st among Chinese manufacturers; globally Hytera has reached the 2nd in Overall Terminal category, according to Heading Century Consulting Industry Report and IMS Market Research Report. Moving to the new digital era, the company has heavily invested in R&D and engineering resources on next generation broadband LTE development.

During the Critical LTE Communications Forum in Chicago, Hytera Communications Senior Vice President Mr. G.S. Kok delivered the keynote of Hytera’s vision and future plan for the LTE development.

In an interview, Andy Zhao, President of Hytera America, unveiled the company’s plans to introduce LTE-DMR and LTE-TETRA user devices and LTE infrastructure equipment in 2017. Zhao stated that today Hytera has become the fastest growing company in the industry and that the company embraced LTE technology already five years ago. The company well positioned within the industry sector in North America, however Hytera is also looking for ways to enter the Public Safety Market in this region and to introduce cost effective communication solutions.

According to Zhao, to date, Hytera is the only LMR company that has invested in LTE infrastructure AND devices.  In addition, Zhao also outlined the company’s technology roadmap that is partly based on solutions to serve the Internet of Things (IoT) market. 

The Critical LTE Communications Forum

The conference was targeted to solutions vendors and carriers as well as enterprise, utilities and other critical infrastructure, government and public safety professionals. It examined the network solutions, applications and opportunities for enterprises and governments to transition to secure, reliable networks for voice and data within an LTE framework.
