PSCE Conference to Convene in Milan in May 2026, Focusing on European Public Safety Communications
Event co-organised with the Italian Ministry of the Interior brings together leading voices in mission-critical communications.
The Public Safety Communication Europe (PSCE) Forum has announced its next major conference, scheduled for 19–20 May 2026 in Milan, Italy. The event will gather public safety authorities, policymakers, network operators and industry experts from across Europe for two days of in-depth discussions on the latest challenges and innovations shaping public safety communications.
The conference is co-organised with the Italian Ministry of the Interior, with the support of Lieutenant Colonel Sergio Santon, underscoring the high-level institutional engagement that has become a hallmark of PSCE events.
The programme will address a broad range of timely topics, including an overview of Italy's public safety landscape, lessons learned from managing large-scale events such as the Winter Olympics, and a follow-up on the latest pilot trial of the European Union Common Communication System (EUCCS) conducted in Germany. Delegates will also examine the future of mission-critical networks for mobile operators, with a particular focus on what comes next as the industry continues to evolve.
A highlight of the event will be a visit to the State Police Headquarters control room, offering attendees a rare opportunity to observe operational public safety infrastructure firsthand.
"This conference reflects PSCE's ongoing commitment to fostering dialogue between the public safety community and the broader communications ecosystem," the organisation noted. "Milan provides an ideal backdrop for these conversations, given Italy's active role in advancing public safety technology across the continent."
