Hytera has unveiled the PTC680 800M, a rugged dual-mode radio combining TETRA 800 MHz mission-critical voice with LTE broadband connectivity to enhance situational awareness and operational efficiency across transportation, utilities, and public safety.

In high-density environments such as major transport hubs and citywide utility networks, the PTC680 800M delivers reliable group communications where 800 MHz TETRA spectrum is allocated. LTE connectivity extends this beyond private TETRA networks, giving users direct access to dispatch, GIS, work-order, and incident-management applications from the radio.

Integrated front and rear cameras allow frontline personnel to capture and transmit real-time images and video, giving supervisors clearer visibility into developing situations. The rugged, secure device is supported by Hytera's Smart MDM platform, which simplifies fleet management through batch configuration, remote upgrades, permission control, device monitoring, and fault alerts.
