Sublette County chooses Harris to upgrade P25 network
Harris Corporation has been selected by Sublette County to provide its mission-critical communications radio network. As part of the project, Harris will transition the county’s conventional analog communications system to a new Project 25 (P25) Phase 2 digital network that provides increased reliability, coverage, interoperability and functionality. Harris will provide an end-to-end, five-site, multicast/multiband network, including two geo-separated VIDA converged and integrated service platforms; Symphony command centre dispatch consoles; XL-200P LTE-capable, multiband P25 portable and mobile radios; and the BeOn mobile push-to-talk application for integration of narrowband and broadband solutions.

The new P25 network will connect the more than 500 users and first responders working in and around Sublette County, and can interoperate with all state agencies and systems within Wyoming, including WyoLink, a state-wide P25 Phase 1 network.
