Westell Announces GoEdge Solution for OnGo Private LTE Networks

Westell Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of high-performance network infrastructure solutions, announced today the new GoEdge brand, Westell’s comprehensive solution for OnGo private LTE networks in the 3.5 GHz CBRS band.

To complete the GoEdge offering, Westell is partnering with ip.access and Druid – experts in small cell and core cellular network software, respectively – to bring solutions for hospitality, healthcare, educational campus environments, IoT industrial automation, commercial real estate, and many other uses. Our GoEdge solution also includes Spectrum Access Systems (SAS) integration, which is pivotal to OnGo private LTE networks.

Additionally, several trials are scheduled in the fields of healthcare, hospitality, retail, and hosted services. These trials include a range of LTE services including voice, text, Internet connectivity, video chat, specialized push-to-talk features, and seamless intra-cell handoffs.”
