Peter Skiczuk Appointed as Director Strategic Business Unit Defence at Frequentis

As of 1 August 2015 Peter Skiczuk took over complete responsibility for the Strategic Business Unit Defence at the international high-tech company Frequentis.

Peter Skiczuk has demonstrated his profound knowledge for more than ten years in various capacities in the Strategic Business Unit Defence.

Peter Skiczuk is excited about the challenge of the tasks ahead: "I'm looking forward to continuously strengthening and increasing the international presence of our core business in the area of air defence and military air traffic control in the coming years. A central element will be the development towards IT solutions, and with that, the integration of communication and information, in order to increasingly be able to offer overall solutions.“

His career at Frequentis began in 2004 in Defence project and programme management; in 2008 his responsibilities were extended to include product management. In this position he was responsible for all relevant decisions regarding IP-based communication solutions and thus controlled product development as well as product marketing. Additionally he took on responsibility for managing the network-centric IP solutions and network-centric defence & security. More recently he assumed complete global responsibility for project/programme execution in the area of Defence.

Before Peter Skiczuk came to Frequentis, he was managing partner of the company DMN Software Entwicklung GmbH, which he founded. The company focused on development and standardisation, as well as on selling of licences for software used for networking of multimedia devices in consumer electronics as well as the automotive industry.
