Activu Open House to Showcase Control Room Technologies
Sessions will Highlight Visualization Software being used by US Government to Ensure Public Safety and Combat Cybersecurity Threats
In anticipation of the imminent release of the next version of its enterprise software suite, Activu is hosting a series of open house sessions on March 10 and 11 at its Washington D.C. offices.
The sessions, featuring experts from Activu, Evans Consoles and Mitsubishi Electric, will address a range of topics concerning video wall and control room technologies.
Activu’s Vice President of Product Management, John Stark, an industry veteran who for over 20 years has been responsible for the content and direction of innovative visualization, display and control room products, will speak about technology advances that allow organizations to share visual information in virtual (VMware) environments. He will also address new technology that allows organizations to share visual information and collaborate with mobile personnel outside of the control room.
Matko Papic, Evans Consoles’ Vice President of Engineering and Product Development, will draw on over 15 years of experience to provide an expert’s view on the planning design and execution of 24/7 mission critical control room environments. A published, industry recognized subject matter expert, Matko’s experience in the control room industry has touched on a range of areas including product design, research and development and technical sales.
James Longstreth, a Sales Manager with Mitsubishi Electric with 15 years of experience providing large-format displays and display wall technology to command and control environments, will provide an in-depth look at control room display technology. The two most commonly deployed control room display technologies today are LCD display wall systems and rear-projection DLP display wall systems with long-life LED light sources. He will discuss the pros and cons of each type of display.
The open house sessions will take place March 10 and 11 at Activu’s Washington D.C. offices (1100 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 1225, Arlington, VA). To learn more or register to attend, visit the registration page.
