Crisis Response Team partners with more than 40 public safety agencies across 16 states to support secure, reliable connectivity during nationwide anniversary events

As the United States continues to mark its historic 250th anniversary, the success of the nation's ongoing celebrations has relied heavily on the seamless integration of public safety technology and dependable, mission-critical communications infrastructure.

Throughout this milestone year, the Verizon Frontline Crisis Response Team has worked in close partnership with more than 40 public safety agencies across 16 states, serving as a connective layer for public safety communication during a series of high-profile America 250 events and local celebrations nationwide.

Among the events supported were the Sail 250 maritime celebrations, held at locations ranging from Louisiana to Massachusetts, and the opening of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. Both occasions required premium network access to support the scale and complexity of public safety operations on site.

According to Cory Davis, vice president of Verizon Frontline, the team's role has been to ensure public safety personnel can concentrate fully on operational priorities without concern for connectivity. Davis noted that more than 45,000 agencies rely on Verizon Frontline as a communications partner, citing a working relationship with first responders that spans more than three decades.

The Verizon Frontline Crisis Response Team, largely composed of former public safety and military personnel, collaborated with local, state, and federal agencies to provide secure, dedicated channels at two dozen event sites across the country, enabling first responders to coordinate complex operations efficiently throughout the anniversary year.

Davis further emphasized that reliability remains a defining requirement in public safety communications, stating that the objective throughout America 250 was to give agencies full confidence that their communication capabilities matched their commitment to the communities they serve.
