BelFone provides an answer with it's ETX DMR Tier III trunking system delivering critical communications to over 200.000 subscribers

Modernization and urbanization go hand in hand. Increasingly more population concentrates into metropolitans, which leads to faster growth of industries in the region, and eventually contributes to economic prosperity. Meanwhile what can’t be ignored are the challenges coming along with the urbanization, and top on the agenda of the city management is public safety. Besides daily routines for public safety forces, they need to be well prepared for a long list of scenarios, such as major events, natural disasters, and even terrorism. Mission critical communications is vital, especially across different forces and departments.

Following ETSI open standards BelFone designed its ETX DMR Tier III trunking system for mission critical organizations, empowering reliable and secure communications and ensuring interoperability across departments and systems.

Enhanced Trunking System (ETX), a new generation of DMR Tier III, provides stable wireless communication and dispatch solutions for public safety users. With the feature of selecting information automatically, it offers resource, task and channel sharing, multi-purpose and high-efficiency wireless dispatch, etc., to benefit group users in different departments and units. Taking advantages of full digitization and IP soft switch, the ETX system has very good scalability, which not only provides end-to-end digital radios, but also secures data services, including GIS, text messages, data transmission, radio control, etc. Through optimized system planning and designing system, both hardware and software architecture, rich secondary development interfaces are available for users, who can customize the system as to their own needs. More applications will be fulfilled via the secondary development of the system.

This system supports up to 8 carriers, 500 sites, and 200,000 subscribers, capable of small area networks and all the way up to nationwide networks.

Features and Benefits of the  ETX DMR system are:

Superior Efficiency

Convenient Management and Dispatch

- The Powerful Network Management System (NMS) is positioned uniquely to provide device management and monitoring with simple configuration, real-time fault management, transparent performance checking and effortlessly remote upgrading via intuitive user interface. System management is made convenient anytime, anywhere.

- System features such as GIS, various calls, voice recording, automatic roaming, environment monitoring, scalable data and program contribute to management efficiency and dispatch timeliness.

Productive Team Collaboration

The interconnected platform links different departments such as Police, Fire, EMS, emergency response, etc. Leveraging video surveillance, big data, versatile sensors, the system is ready to enable mission critical forces to respond to any emergency swiftly, and strengthen collaboration and situational awareness.

Cost Saving Architecture & Effective Resource Utilization

Based on more than 30 years of research and manufacturing, BelFone is good at integrating technologies and getting the best out of hardware, which turns into significant cost saving for the customers.

Crucial Safety Features

Personnel Safety

At life or death matters, every second counts. Emergency alarm button, lone worker alert, Man Down warning and other programmed features are critical and all work together to ensure the users’ safety at whatever demanding moments.

Information Security
