FREQUENTIS Confirms Sustainability Commitment with New Milestones
Frequentis is sending a strong signal for sustainable and responsible business practices: as part of a
comprehensive recertification audit, the existing ISO certificates were confirmed – a clear indication of
the consistent implementation of high standards in the areas of Quality Management (ISO 9001),
Environmental Management (ISO 14001), Information Security (ISO 27001), and Occupational Health
and Safety (ISO 45001).
A special milestone: for the first time, Frequentis was also certified according to ISO 50001 for Energy
Management. This recognition underscores the commitment to a more efficient use of energy and a
responsible utilisation of resources – an important step on the path to climate neutrality.
Scientifically grounded climate goals with SBTi
By committing to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), Frequentis is taking another step towards
the future: the planned targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions are based on the latest scientific findings and are independently verified by the SBTi. This demonstrates not only transparency but also leadership in climate protection.
EcoVadis Rating: bronze medal reaffirmed
Frequentis also impressed in the current EcoVadis rating: once again, the company was awarded the Bronze Medal, with significant improvements in all four evaluation areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. This places Frequentis among the top 35% of companies assessed worldwide.
“This recognition confirms that sustainability at Frequentis is not just a buzzword, but a central part of our corporate identity,” emphasises CFO Peter Skerlan, who is responsible for the ESG agenda on the Executive Board.
With this holistic approach, Frequentis aims to generate long-term positive impacts for the environment
and society – while remaining economically successful.
