Zetron, a global leader in integrated mission critical communications technology, today announced it has partnered with BestHuman™ (formerly Locelle), a professional development company based in Victoria, British Columbia (CAN), to implement a new leadership program at Zetron. The program will leverage BestHuman’s years of experience in providing mentorship, networking and community in technology fields to deliver specialized leadership training that combines the power of executive coaching and peer to peer learning to help leaders effectively manage today’s diverse and remote/hybrid workforce.

Zetron first engaged BestHuman in 2020, with an initial focus on further developing leadership roles and opportunities for women in technology. More than 50% of Zetron’s female workforce benefited from that program, and this year the relationship is expanding to include Zetron’s entire worldwide management team.

During the 16 week BestHuman program, participating Zetron managers have been matched with peers across the organization globally and an ICF certified executive coach for sessions centered around preselected critical skills to help build leadership competencies. At the end of the program, all participants are required to complete a leadership development plan to be certified in the program.

“We are so pleased to bring our Leadership Program to Zetron’s worldwide management team,” said BestHuman’s Founder and CEO, Humaira Ahmed. “As workforces continue to become more diverse and hybrid, it is important for leaders in growing organizations to learn from one another, develop the critical skills needed to effectively manage, inspire and motivate their teams. Zetron’s participation in the program demonstrates the company’s commitment to helping its people grow with the company.

BestHuman’s leadership program has three overarching goals for each participant:

  • Foster a collaborative and engaging learning environment amongst peers across the global organization.
  • Develop a sense of confidence in leading teams with inclusivity and effectiveness while gaining deeper comprehension of essential leadership skills to enhance their proficiency as leaders in interpersonal interactions.
  • Empower participants to craft their personalized leadership development plans, which they can retain and continually benefit from.

“Zetron’s rapid growth in recent years has driven substantial changes to our global team in terms of size, location, diversity and skillset,” said Scott French, Zetron President and Executive General Manager. “In order to continue advancing our global leadership in mission critical communications it’s vital that we continue to invest in people, which the BestHuman Leadership Program helps us do. I’m confident it will pay lasting dividends for our team, and partnering with a growing woman-owned business that’s local to our Victoria, BC office for the program makes it especially rewarding.”
